Finding new employment is a great opportunity for people to start building professional experience! It starts at the earliest part in the application process. If you are a new job seeker and are nervous about the process, these tips can help make a difference in your approach.

Interview Do's and Dont's

You’ve found your perfect job, completed the application and after speaking with the hiring manager by phone, you’re headed to an in-person interview!  Although you know you’re a perfect match for the position and the employer, the prospect of having to present yourself in the best possible light is daunting.

Do I have to pay for your services?

No, Muscogee Staffing Solutions services are free to all job seekers. We provide a business-to-business service and are compensated by our clients.

Do you keep a portion of what I make?

No, Muscogee Staffing Solutions is focused on getting you the best possible pay rate for a given position. We charge our clients a service fee in addition to your pay rate

How do I get paid?

Muscogee Staffing Solutions pays on a weekly basis. For instance, if you start an assignment on Thursday, you will need to turn in your timecard no later than noon the following Monday. You can drop off your timecard in person, fax it over to our office (please call to verify we received your fax), or complete our online timesheet. You will receive your first paycheck on the following Friday and every Friday thereafter, as long as you work on an assignment at one of our client companies. Payroll is done using either direct deposit or a pay card.

Do you offer health insurance?

Yes, Muscogee Staffing Solutions offers an Affordable Care Act compliant benefits program.

How do I get a job?

We are focused on finding the right fit for each of our associates. Once a Muscogee Staffing Solutions recruiter contacts you, the process begins. You will have an in-person interview with our recruiting team to ensure we understand your skills and experience as well as what you are seeking in your next career opportunity.

How often should I contact your office?

Communication is key. We recommend a weekly call to inform our recruiters that you are still actively seeking work or if anything has changed in your job search. This enables our recruiters to modify their strategies to fit your job seeking needs.

Do I have to call you when my assignment ends if I want another job?

Yes, we want to make sure that nothing has changed in your job search, so we can get back to helping you find another position. Whenever anything changes in your employment situation or job search, please let us know.

Who do I work for, Muscogee Staffing Solutions or the company you place me with?

It depends. Muscogee Staffing Solutions offers several types of opportunities such as temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire (meaning that you become a regular employee for a given company). For both temporary and temporary-to-hire assignments, you are employed by Muscogee Staffing Solutions, and we’re excited you’re on our team!

How long must I work for a company through Muscogee Staffing Solutions before I can get hired on by that company?

Becoming a full-time employee varies by client and your individual performance. Your Muscogee Staffing Solutions recruiter is your best resource and will work with you to find the best fit for your individual situation.

How long do job assignments last?

The length of our assignments is based on the needs of our clients. During your in-person interview, our recruiters will discuss which type of employment opportunity is the right fit for you.

If I don't accept a position you offer me, will you call me again?

Yes, we understand that not every position offered to you is going to meet your needs. However, we will consult with you to set reasonable expectations about the kinds of jobs that are available within the context of your goals and experience.

How can I get to the top of your call list?

Call your recruiter once a week and let them know if anything has changed in your job search. This may change who they are contacting in regards to your experience.

Do you offer any training?

We do offer training on several computer software systems, including Microsoft Office. Contact your recruiter directly for more details.

Do you offer resume writing services?

No, but we will be happy to evaluate your resume, provide feedback and sample resumes to help you prepare for your job search.  Additionally our website does offer a resume building tool that you can access yourself to assist in building your own resume.

Do you offer coaching prior to my interview with your clients?

Yes, Muscogee Staffing Solutions recruiters are here to help you prepare for your interview. We understand that the best candidates are not always the best interviewees, and we recognize the importance of being well prepared. We do everything we can to set you up for success.

What happens if I am not happy in a position Muscogee Staffing Solutions has placed me in?

Call our recruiters. Our focus is finding the right fit for you.

What happens if I am injured on my assignment?

Call our office immediately (see the previously issued employee handbook for additional details). Your health and safety are our #1 priority!

If I am running late to my assignment, who should I notify?

Call our recruiters before you are scheduled to arrive at work. They will contact our client to inform them that you are on your way but are running late.
